about your virtual shopping cart

While browsing through our catalogue you have a virtual shopping cart waiting for you. each cart has a unique number, which is given to your browser in a cookie.
look at our help page on cookies for more information on cookies, how to see their contents and how to remove them from your browser's memory.

using your virtual shopping cart

To use your shopping cart several buttons are available on the pages of our on-line catalog:

add a product to your shopping cart add the current product to your shopping cart.
show me what i bought and the prices of the items look at the right of the menubar look in your shopping cart. the contents of your cart will be listed on your screen. it is possible to modify the contents of your cart at this point.
order the products in your shopping cart. a form will appear for you to fill out.



ordering

To order any products in our virtual store, go to the product page by clicking the tumbnail (small picture in the list), than click the order product button. If you desire more than one article first change the amount. You can always change your order by changing the amount in your cart and than press the button. Changing the amount of an article to zero ("0") and than press modify will remove this specific product from your cart.
when you're finished shopping and want to send your order to us for handling, you press the button.

You will be transferred to a secure zone (https://secure.sexshockcity.com) this is to protect your data. A security warning may appear in internet explorer or netscape. you must click yes or ok to proceed with your order. A form will appear enter your billing and shipment information. when you have supplied all the information
push the button below to buy the products.

We always ship the orders in discrete packaging. while browsing this site there is never any obligation to buy.

Prices are indicated in the 4 currencies in the table below.

Credit cards will be charged in euro, however this will be less than indicated in the other currencies (barring sudden currency volatility).

delivery times

Most DVD's & tapes are in stock and can be shipped right away. For Europe expect your order to arrive within 5 to 10 days, for the USA and the rest of the world between 7 and 15 days. Occasionally a tape is not in stock and your order will take longer to complete than the time indicated above. You can always check the status of your order at the Sexshockcity Order Tracking page or send an email to info@sexshockcity.com.

Packing info

We will normally ship in a discreet package. The only text on your package will be your name and adress, unless specified otherwise. Into the UK, USA and Australia we ship all packages 'camouflaged' eg. without cover. To most other countries we will ship normally (PAL/NTSC depending on the country), unless the tapes could be confiscated by the customs or if requested otherwise. If you wish we can ship the covers in a different mailing (please let us know if you want us to ship to covers. Enter covers in the comment field when you fill out your personal information).

languages

The Sexshockcity staff speaks several languages, we can help you in one of the following languages: english, dutch and german.

privacy

Sexshockcity does not sell, or distribute in any form, any personal information about it's customers. Only on your special request or if you added your email address to our mailing list we will keep you posted on special actions and new articles to come.

Video Format

Most tapes are available in PAL and in NTSC. Unless you indicate otherwise we ship in the the format wich is custom for the country you live in. So we ship NTSC to USA and Japan, Pal to Europe, Australia and most other countries.

There are 6 DVD regions:

1. USA, Canada.
2. Europe, Near East, South Africa, Japan.
3. South East Asia.
4. Australia, Middle & South America.
5. Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe.
6. People's Republic of China.

The region code itself can reside in several locations: :


1. The DVD Disc itself (most common, and usually written on the back side of the DVD casing).
2. The DVD Hardware device (the DVD Drive itself). = DVD PLAYER
3. Software decoders such as PowerDVD or WinDVD, or Hardware decoders such as the Hollywood-Plus or DXR3. If your drive itself is region free (does not have the mechanism to verify the disc's region), you will have to remove or bypass the region check on the playback software. There are several programs available to help you do just that.

Conclusion

1) A regionfree dvd will always play whatever kind of player you have.
But see point 4 below

2) Region 2 DVD: playable in Europe, Near East, South Africa, Japan.
Should almost always also be playable if your DVD player is in your computer.
Because you can than remove the regioncode with software.

3) If you have a DVD player not residing in a computer but one for connecting with your tv you will not be able to remove the region code
with software only with firmware. Meaning you will have to pay and your hardware goes to your dealer.

4) Another problem comes up when you are playing the DVD on your dvd player connected to a tv. There are 2 kinds of tv systems: PAL and NTSC they are not compatible. A NTSC system will not play a PAL video or dvd and a PAL system will not play a NTSC video or dvd NTSC system

browser settings

Since this is a catalog, you should set your browser to automatically load pictures, run javascript and as indicated below accept cookies (this is the default setting for most browsers). the Sexshockcity shop does not use any java.
